Public Awareness
Public Outreach and Awareness: Drunk Driving is a crime that can affect anyone from any walk of life. It is non – discriminatory, and so is MADD California. With such a highly diverse state, MADD California is dedicated to serving all victims of violent crime. We are also committed to educate anyone in the public about the dangers of drunk driving and what they can do help MADD achieve its mission. We need your help!
Brochures: MADD California has a wide variety of educational handouts written in both English and Spanish.
Presentations: Interested in having a MADD volunteer speak to group? MADD’s speakers are provided free of charge and can teach adults about the dangers of drunk driving, the consequences of being arrested, and why those under the age of 21 should not consume alcohol.
Coalitions: MADD California and all of its entities work closely with other safety groups whose mission and vision can assist MADD in its efforts to Eliminate Drunk Driving. We know that a problem the size of drunk driving will take the entire community to stop, and through efforts of government entities, other non-profit groups, law enforcement, probation department’s, district attorneys, and corporate leaders, we can accomplish this mission!
